We manufacture products in cleanroom classes 6, 7, 8 and 9. We then package these in compliance with the highest regulatory requirements and validate them for sterility as required by the customer. As full-service providers, we manufacture not only individual injection-moulded parts but also fully assembled system solutions – all from a single source. To ensure this particular customer benefit, GEMÜ regularly invests in advanced manufacturing processes.

Diagnostics

The resources used to detect, diagnose and assess diseases are known as diagnostics. The EU regulation IVDR 2017/746 defines in-vitro diagnostics as any medical product, used for the analysis of specimens taken from or derived from the human body for the purpose of diagnosis. De facto: A reagent, reagent product, calibrator, control material, kit, instrument, apparatus, piece of equipment or system – whether used alone or in combination as per the intended purpose stipulated by the manufacturer.

GEMÜ supports its partners from the solution development stage right through to market launch of the systems/products and beyond. This sees us manufacturing solutions for entire laboratory systems, as well as components for point-of-care devices and applications. Pharmaceutical packaging and application systems

Packaging for medicinal products differentiates between primary and secondary receptacles and components. Primary packaging is in direct contact with the pharmaceutical products, whereas secondary packaging does not come into direct contact with the active substances. They play a key role in the process of filling syringes and phials made from glass and plastic. GEMÜ assists its customers with both primary and secondary packaging by means of its packaging solutions made from plastic.

GEMÜ also offers proprietary innovations developed in-house, such as the Luer Vial system. This is utilized as a modular system for packaging and ready-to-use applications. The Luer Vial is the ideal solution for many different types of administration.
